The next best thing after Tower Defense games. What i really like about these games is that you meet a lot of new people from all around the world, each of them with a different life story, you will make new friends importantly work together on a strategy (teamwork).

1.Ogame
OGame is a text based Sci-Fi strategy. In the beginning you start with your home planet. As you research new technologies you will be able to build more colonies and expand your empire. Sooner or later you will join an alliance and things will start getting really exiting. What i liked the most about this game was that attacking and defending can be done with the help of your alliance. It requires really good timing and strategy, but it is super fun.
2. DarkOrbit
Dark Orbit is Bigpoint's most popular browser game. It is concentrated heavily in PVP. You command a ship where you do quests, destroy aliens and explore different parts of the galaxy. It offers a lot of lasers,rockets, shields and ships that you can choose.
The last on my list is Call of Gods. Very addicting Turn Based game. You have 3 races to chose from, 6 types of heroes and equipment( white, green, blue, purple, orange, red) making red the strongest.
